Metropolis on Elbrus

Mount Elbrus (or Miñi taw) - '...thousand mountains" - is a dormant volcano located in the western Caucasus. Elbrus is the highest mountain in all of Europe (5,642 meters (18,510 ft);above the sea level).


Elbrus is one of the highest pick of all continents. Elbrus area is known for its picturesque canyons located at the height of 2.000 m above the sea. The slopes above 3.500 m are often cover in ice and snow. On the lower levels (2.100-3.500) there are a lot of wonderful waterfalls.


Due to the effort for our employee Sergey Egorov part of Metropolis has also conquered this peak. For the first time in th history Metropolis flag was set on Elbrus!
