Schneider Electric, world expert and provider of complex solutions for energy and infrastructure, industrial enterprises, civil and residential facilities ran a practical conference for designers, which took place in Rome on 16-20 May.  

Metropolis company was represented by the Deputy general director Oleg Baranov. He spoke about the practical aspects of using BIM-technologies in building design. Since 2015 Metropolis has gained sufficient experience in designing building services, utilities and structural sulutions based on Revit software. 

In addition to standard Revit instruments, we use open API interface opportunieis and develop plugins which help automate routine tasks of an architect, structural and MEP engineer.

To-date Metropolis engineers have sufficient competance in using BIM instruments. Our projects take winning places at competitions for BIM technogies. 

Delegates from Moscow, St.Petersburg, Irkutsk, Krasnoyarsk, Kazan, Ekaterinburg and other cities took part in the conference.

Metropolis demonstrated design solutions used in such projects as the Rhythmic gymnastics centre in Luzhniki, Moskomsport Covered skating rink project and Iskra-Park mixed-use devlopment, which aroused keen interest of the conference participants.
