Metropolis specialists took part in the Twelfth International research and practice conference STAR Russian Conference 2017, which took place in Nizhniy Novgorod on May, 31. It was devoted to heat and mass transfer and strength issues. Our colleagues gave a report, which focused on the problems of heat transmission in non-homogeneous structures and arrangement of heat insulating inserts in cast-in-place construction.

STAR Russian Conference is an annual international conference uniting leading Russian specialists in engineering analysis. It aims at studying the recent developments in engineering modeling, discussing ways of solving industrial problems, reducing production costs and introducing innovations. This year the conference involved leading research and engineering companies and institutes, such as Sarov Engineering centre, Siemens Industry Software, Dell EMC, Research Institute of Mechanics at Nizhniy Novgorod State University and others.
