Krasnodar FC Stadium is among the 10 finalists of the Stadium of the Year 2016 competition according to the Jury Vote of StadiumDB.com.
Besides Kransodar Stadium, the list of finalists includes Allianz Stadion (Vienna, Austria), Cape Coast Stadium (Cape Coast, Ghana), Dacia Arena (Udine, Italy), Hard Rock Stadium (Miami Gardens, USA), London Stadium (London, UK), Medical Park Arena (Trabzon, Turkey), Sivas Arena (Sivas, Turkey), Vodafone Arena (Istanbul, Turkey), Stadion Miejski (Bielsko-Biala, Poland).
The jury considered three criteria: what visual impact the stadium has, how it relates to its surrounding and how innovative it is.
Public vote is open until March, 4 and the winners will be announced on March, 6.
Involvement of our team in this project included development of structural solutions for the stadium bowl, along with MEP solutions. We undertook supervision and adaptation of design solutions developed by a foreign designer for load bearing structures of the stadium roof in compliance with Russian norms.
