The rhythmic gymnastics centre is part of the architectural and park ensemble of the Olympic complex Luzhniki. The building form resembling a ribbon wave carries an associative link between the building form and its function.

The Centre is intended for competitions in rhythmic gymnastics of various level, including European and World championships, as well as for other sports, training, recreation activities and cultural events. In addition to rooms for sports activities, it includes areas for mass media representatives, a temporary accommodation unit for sportsmen, a medical centre, a SPA area, doping control and other auxiliary and service rooms necessary for the Centre operation.

The rhythmic gymnastics centre can receive up to 250 sportsmen and 4,000 audience during competitions and up to 2,500 visitors during cultural events.
